A World War II-era plane made an emergency landing on a southeast Wisconsin highway Sunday 22 July 2007, snarling traffic as authorities worked to remove it. No injuries were reported after the fighter plane landed on U.S. Hwy. 41 near Fon du Lac County Airport shortly before 8 p.m., authorities said. I didn't cut the film. This is the original footage which I received from a trustfull source. I thought there was a roadblock. They've cleared the road but I don't know why there are other cars than police driving on this road.

The pilot said in an interview that he was landing behind the police car because he couldn't clear it, but seeing that he was going to crash into the back of him, he purposely BOUNCED over the police car. That's a damn good pilot.

The guy was less than 20 miles from his destination AND there's an airport about a mile in front of him (about 15 miles from where I live). The area is INSANELY busy with planes this week due to a huge airshow.

Heh I live 3 miles from there! At least he landed safely. Funny though how the officer reached for his gun.
