The British Army has fought & BEATEN Communist insurgents, Malaya, Borneo, Kenya, Oman, It has fought in conventional wars EG Korea, Falklands War, Gulf War 1 & 2, Afganistan. It did a good job of keeping PIRA at bay in NI & the UK for 30 yrs. We know how to deal with terrorists EG IRANIAN EMBASSY '80. NOBODY else has such depth of experience & success as the British. So far 6 German soldiers have been killed. | LIVERPOOLSCOTTISH ::: Favorites Yes I did. The IDF have fought conventional wars only, and been involved in Peace Keeping/security based operations. They do not have the same breadth of experience as the British Forces do, despite the fact that the IDF are quite formidable, they don't have experience of fighting in different regions/theatres like the British.
