Description:
The exciting landing on the fairly short runway at Gibraltar...after touchdown, you'll see some lines that vertically intersect the runway, and might be wondering what they are...in fact, that is the highway that crosses the runway at GIB, because the runway spans the entire width of the colony and some...so the main highway goes right across the runway, and when an aircraft is about to land or takeoff, railroad style gates go down to stop traffic...quite cool!...Sorry about the shakiness...the landing wasnt as bumpy as my hand control makes it seem! |

| kingofpwnage92 2008-01-24 12:55:13 I flew in to gib w/ Monarch on 16/7/07 and as the plane was approaching the plane must have dropped about 10ft because of wind shear! No bumpy landing though which was good. Everybody was clapping afterwards. __________________________________________________ | |
