Description: This is an ambient-ethereal song that I wrote, and the video source comes from a black & white version of Alice in Wonderland from 1966. I think its nicely trippy/eerie |

rasillon ::: Favorites 2007-10-21 13:51:47 Yes, as a matter of fact it is. I'm surprised you caught that. I just thought this version would work best for the song. Not too many people have seen it. I'm glad you liked it. __________________________________________________
anton1990 ::: Favorites 2007-10-21 11:15:16 Is this the one with Peter Cook, Michael Gough, Peter Sellers, and John Gielgud? __________________________________________________
glass3sg33k ::: Favorites 2007-09-23 13:12:40 fond memories! remember seeing this at my neighbors house __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2007-08-16 19:00:26 Thanks for the great compliments. I had a wonderful time making this video. I wrote the song, and wanted an eerie type of footage for it. This worked perfectly. Besides, I'm an Alice fanatic!! Thanx for the 5 Stars. Awesome! :-) __________________________________________________
A7XL ::: Favorites 2007-08-14 20:14:41 That was an awesome vid. You dont see many movie/song clips that work out so well. But this worked out excellent. 5 stars. __________________________________________________
DSMOO2 ::: Favorites 2007-03-11 18:14:01 johnatan miller, dec 1966 bbc version of Alice in Wonderland good to see it again, but have you seen the 1965 dennis potter version made for the bbc __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2007-02-18 00:57:37 Thanx, it just kind of all fell together. I knew the song I made needed something weird for the video, and when I saw this version of the movie I knew I found what I was looking for. Its perfectly eerie. __________________________________________________
LogosX87 ::: Favorites 2007-02-17 20:46:41 This is really cool. __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2006-11-22 19:20:56 Thanx for the link. I didn't see until just now. Sorry. I've had a few people ask me about it, and everytime I went to check the library, someone had rented it out. Thanx again! __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2006-11-19 19:14:38 Thanks for the compliment. Once I found this version, I knew it was a rare keeper! I still need to look up who produced it, but its very bizarre! Alice in Wonderland has always been a tad creepy, but this version was just weird. The ambient/ethereal song I wrote isn't one that has a lot of changes to it, like some of my other ambient songs do, but for this vid it worked perfectly. Thanx again. __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2006-11-19 19:11:35 Thank you very much. Once I saw how weirdly abstract this version was, I knew I had to use it. It's creepy, but interesting at the same time. Especially the fact that the "hallway full of doors" has taxidermist animals in it!!! Thats REALLY bizarre! I enjoy making ambient music, and I enjoy various versions of Alice too, so they melded very well! Thanx again. __________________________________________________
rasillon ::: Favorites 2006-11-19 19:07:42 A lot of people have asked me where to get this one. I found it at the library, and I need to double check all of the info available for it. It was an "abstract" movie from 1966, with a 1903 version in the extra features. The actress sometimes doesn't even acknowledge the other people around here in this version, its weird! I'll check out the info on what one this is, and let you know. Thanx for the compliment. __________________________________________________
RosieandEmma ::: Favorites 2006-11-19 02:27:46 Wow! I've always enjoyed seeing different versions of Alice in Wonderland. I would really like to see this! Where can you find it? __________________________________________________ |
