There are millions of structures on the planet and that means an intelligent species has to have built them. For an intelligent species to survive there has to be water available and oxygen in the air to breathe, unless their body system can cope with breathing in 95% carbon dioxidewhich is doubtful. __________________________________________________ | |

There are millions of building structures on the surface. These include high rise and small structures. There's evidence of a well-integrated local road and rail infrastructures. Travel between major centres is by underground tunnels. In fact, it would appear they are suffering from over population. Also, check out the landing site for the current Mars mission and analyze in very fine detail. The terrain is not as regular as it looks!
