KamikazeKoscki ::: Favorites More people like you have to run for office or become a lawyer or judge, the whole country has lost it's way. The problem has been here for a long time, we just need to get good people to step up to the plate and deal with evil. Becoming a lobbyist is another way to help stop all the corruption. Activist is also excellent to raise the conciousness around the world. 07-10-16 23:55:13 __________________________________________________
dhshush ::: Favorites From the very beginning I had a bad feeling about GW from the very beginning, he and his entire cabinet current and past members all need the Gitmo Experience as prisoners, spouses included. 07-10-15 05:24:39 __________________________________________________
Gnern ::: Favorites I'm a Canadian, so this isn't about Democrat bashing. I also disagree with ghost74surfer. If you believe that dissent is necessary in a democracy, then I think the message would be clear in Washington if their were more armchair-dissenters voting. The systems are all there. The constitution is there. Americans just need to keep a closer eye on their elected. I think we are where we are because we've all been too pre-occupied in our own lives. My remedy; more involvement and discussion. 07-10-13 20:23:43 __________________________________________________
Gnern ::: Favorites I'll answer my own question. Yes they do. As the polls show, not many, but some do. I too am affraid, because as elshizzo pointed out, "people are leaving the republican party in droves". But where to? I'm affraid because if this is so, the only other option is the impotent group of democrats who right now are too concerned with adversely effecting their political careers to make the necessary changes. Even when an overwhelming majority of the population is demanding that they do so. 07-10-13 20:05:52 __________________________________________________
Gnern ::: Favorites It's really not surprising though is it? Throughout it's term, this administration has conducted itself in this way, even if they have to change the rules to ensure their impunity. Does anyone actually believe that Bush's objective in Iraq is to spread freedom and democracy? When he uses "national security" as a reason to bury truth, does ANYONE believe it? 07-10-13 19:57:22 __________________________________________________
ghost74surfer ::: Favorites YOU have the power believe in yourself 07-10-12 20:33:38 __________________________________________________
ghost74surfer ::: Favorites we must be willing to walk though our fear and become active rather than being arm chair decenters. they know soon we will act. now is the time to let that rage in your heart roar and stand up 07-10-12 20:31:20 __________________________________________________
ghost74surfer ::: Favorites what does it feel like to be free ? this is not an argumentative question. the only way freedom can be realized is not with placards, placards do not hurt the state DESCENT DIRECT ACTION is the only way to over come this 07-10-12 20:28:17 __________________________________________________
ghost74surfer ::: Favorites the only protection we should desire is that from the state. The state is the very institution that is implementing terrorist ideology. The only thing that we should wish to destroy is the state that has put us in the situation we are now in. 07-10-12 20:24:40 __________________________________________________
elshizzo ::: Favorites Its not as bad as you think feaster. The neocons are a dying breed. Barely anyone still supports this president, and people are leaving the republican party in droves. 07-10-11 21:09:16 __________________________________________________ |
