Description: READ THIS BEFORE COMMENT!!!! In 2000, the director Terry Gilliam started shooting "The Man Who Killed Don Quiote". This film, an altered telling of the classic Don Quiote story, starred Johnny Depp as Don Quiote's "sidekick". After only one week of shooting, too many problems forced production on the film to stop. Even though this film has been his biggest dream, Gilliam, to this day, has never been able to sucessfully restart the project. This is the only six minutes of the film that were completed. I don't usually post videos that aren't my own work but the story behind these 6 minutes is pretty interesting. The story of this unfinished film is told in the documentary "Lost in La Mancha" and I recommend seeing it if you are a Terry Gilliam fan or have an interest in film production.

PhilipC88 ::: Favorites Gilliam still hopes to make this film. He recently commented he had talked to Depp about it, a short while ago. The main problems were badly chosen locations (military practice grounds...) and health problems for the main actor (Rochefort). If Gilliam finds some other scenery, another Quixote (unlikely though, because he's adamant on Rochefort) and if Depp finds a blank page in his agenda, the movie may yet be made... 07-09-13 04:59:05 __________________________________________________

Johnny Depp is truly one of the, if not THE most talented actors of his generation. This because he doesn't only act, he transform into any character he chooses. Love the fish part and to kiss or not to kiss the horse.
