It amazes me how Pat Buchanan can spew complete BS with such confidence. It's nice that this show brings in guests like Kim Mance who is actually well equipped with facts

The Founding Fathers understood the world's cultural disparities in their time. They were very close to the source of religious and political suppression breaking down societies in Europe especially. When the Constitution was being formulated, I believe they understood their shortfalls (i.e. Jefferson and Washington owned slaves)and built the Constitution in the hope that FUTURE generations would be guided by its vision for "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Neanderthals and dinosaurs exist on both sides of the gender equation. The only difference other than greater opportunities for women is a larger number of "redneck" women that have evolved in recent history. Hillory fits the bill. No pun intended.

I thought you were referring to neanderthals not being dinosaurs as the mixed metaphor. I believe Pat Buchanon reeks of bitterness though, seeing his 1950's idea of the world fall away to our modern era. And you're right about his type dying off not being the end of this "traditional" or "conservative" thinking, because there are always some in the newer generations that continually try to resurrect/keep alive such thinking.

I was being sarcastic, on the other hand, I don't understand your comment on mixed metaphors. I'm not an english major. By "we" I assume you mean women. I didn't see "bitter" hatred, only opinions by a dinosaur. If there's one thing in life i've learned its that people will always be racist, sexist, heterosexist, homophobic, and intolant. At least for the forseeable 300 years. We have to deal with it, as well as accept it.

I suppose you are being sarcastic. You're right if your complaint is that I mixed my metaphors; you're wrong if you think I would ever think that gender trumps intelligence in desirable characteristics for our leaders.

Good to see you're so open minded, since we've created a whole new species of dinosaurs. "Vote for gender, not intelligence!"
