Description: Do you have a fear of Helicopters? If you hear one, do you start frantically looking around to find it in the sky? Is it some kind of a phobia (like when other people fear of spiders, clowns, height etc)? It often seems from a casual observer that a helicopter hangs precariously from it's rotor the whole time and if the engine stops it will plunge from the sky. Quite the reverse is true, an experienced pilot can "autorotate" a helicopter from any altitude to a safe landing almost anywhere. Without power the helicopter is simply a gyrocopter. After seeing these videos you'll have a few more reasons for fearing them. Share with friends
