Description: 5/14/07 and 5/16/07: Luke demonstrates what a great husband and father he will be in this episode. With mother Lily in rehab for the past month, Luke has been playing the role of homemaker. Amidst all the family drama, Luke is also the only one to maintain his sense of humor. [SPOILER ALERT] Luke's homemaking and spousal skills will come in handy because gay romance is just around the corner. I mean that chronologically as well as spatially. Here's a hint: there is a reference to Luke's future boyfriend in this video... :) [SPOILER ALERT OFF] I stopped watching ATWT for awhile because I hated Maddie and Casey. This episode finally shows a Maddie that I can like. Now that Luke has cut Jade from his life (see 4-20-07 episode), maybe Maddie will become his new galpal. Every gay man needs one, right? For whatever crazy reason, Luke still has a crush on Kevin. The one area that archenemies Maddie and Jade agree on is that Kevin is "a creep." Both women genuinely believe that Luke is too good for him, even as a mere friend. Look at poor Luke's wistful sad-puppy face at 8:04-8:12 as he pretends not to care about Kevin. He makes up for it at 8:42 with cherubic glee. Finally, we know that Luke is now truly and irreversibly gay because he makes a Wizard of Oz reference at 9:50. :)

Casey later claimed that he had mistaken Luke for Maddie because they both wore red satin underwear. Just kidding. Casey paid a gambling debt by trashing Crash and stealing Will's bonds. This show is a US soap opera, As the World Turns. The show has been on since 1956. I've only started watching 2 years ago, when Luke came out. Prior to that, the character was played by Jake Weary, who may have quit because his mother (a soap actor) didn't want him in a gay role.
